Specializing in Non-Invasive and
Minimally-Invasive treatment of the
spine, Dr. Ho is dual Fellowship trained
at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts
General Hospital and University of
Washington. Dr. Ho is also double Board
Certified in both Anesthesiology and
Pain Management.
With a background in Engineering, Dr. Ho
oversees technological development of
PainCare.

Dr. Ho, his wife Stephanie and their
four children are active in the
community. Besides soccer games and
school activities their children study
music and foreign languages. They have
traveled to many parts of the world
learning about cultures and the needs of
our world.

Dr. Lai has built his entire career
around pain management. He is a
graduate of UC-Irvine and Western
University of Health Sciences. He is
educated
as a doctor of
osteopathy with emphasis on the nerves,
muscles and bones under the philosophy
of treating the whole person to the
prevention, diagnosis and treatment of
illnesses, diseases and injuries.
Dr. Lai received his Physical Medicine
and
Rehabilitation residency training from
UCLA, and Pain Management Fellowship
training at Integrated Pain Management
in Concord, California.
Dr. Lai had many offers of opportunity
to practice elsewhere, but in the end,
he chose to return to Orange County and
join PainCare’s truly integrated
practice. He brings with him
sophisticated diagnostic
and interventional skills including
ability to
perform electrodiagnostic studies.
Dr. Lai plays tennis and volleyball. He
also enjoys conversation, especially
over a nice cup of coffee. |

Caucasus in ancestry, Dr. Beshqoy was
born in Jordan but immigrated to the
United States at an early age. He has
been in Southern California ever since.
Dr. Beshqoy received his Bachelor of
Science and Doctor of Chiropractic
Degree from Los Angeles College of
Chiropractic.
Dr. Beshqoy enjoyed a busy practice in
Beverly Hills before moving to Orange
County – preferring the area’s calmer
and more orderly environment.
Chiropractic is the largest form of
alternative medicine in the nation and
is increasingly accepted as an important
adjunct to mainstream medicine. Dr.
Beshqoy utilizes the inherent
recuperative power of the body to heal
itself while minimizing the use of drugs
and surgery.

Kristen is an experienced physical
therapist dedicated to work only in pain
management.
A graduate of UC Santa Barbara with High
Honors, Kristen received her Master of
Science degree in PT from the University
of the Pacific.
Since 1996 Kristen has become well known
for her pain management expertise,
having developed and worked closely with
patients and physicians at Hoag
Hospital’s Pain Program in Newport
Beach. She joined PainCare in 2003.
She is a frequent invited speaker at
local and national conferences. Her
extensive credentials include certifications
in fibromyalgia treatment, myofascial
release and Pilates.
Kristen, her husband Mike and their two
children enjoy the outdoors. They spend
much of their spare time hiking,
mountain biking, kayaking and skiing.
Kristen has also competed in
half-marathons and triathlons.
